Nice. First day off. We had a rainstorm last night, and then it dropped below freezing over night and then snowed. The main road from the mountain to the valley is covered in black ice, and since none of the plow trucks were ready they ended up closing school. To bad I'm up on the mountain, I won't be able to get out anywhere untill later on today. This is sick. Anyone else have any school closings lately?

like 2 seconds ago i im'd everyone online and said "yay no school today, it's snowing" and they were like "omg yes" too bad its not really snwoing

haha. now all this snow is getting me back into snowboarding. Argh, I still new new pants, jacket, and gloves. so much dinero

I'm outta school for the rest of the week b/c I got chicken pox. My doctor couldnt believe that a 15 year old cought chicken pox. They suck a**. I cant scratch em b/c they'll become infected im so fricken pissed off.

I wished it snowed harder over here, you in northern Jersey? Over here we just got some fluries(sp?) and it didn't even stick

the wind blew the snow off the ground like it was sand, and then the sun came out

One of the High Schools near me closed because over half their population was sick, about 200 kids.
Heh, 200 kids is about our BUSSED population from my school :P.

I had to go to school but because of the snow most of the teachers didn't show up. So we sat in homeroom with no teacher for periods 1-3, then I had study, then I watched finding nemo, then played computer games, then had algebra with not teacher lol. It was a pretty fun day.

I wish I had snow days. Our skool is in comatision with other schools to see who can go the longest with out a snowday nad not have a death.

Where are you DaBluedevil? I haven't gotten anything here and im pretty far north...and my school closes if any schools close in town kids are from.

up here in pa i got school off too

the funny thing is when they announced it, there was like 1/4 of an inch....theres more now though and its still comin down.

We just got an early dismassal today cuz of whats comin. What hit powerhouse is comin my way. I'm predicted to get 12+ Dooms, I live in northern Sussex county. I can walk to Mt Creek...(Ski/water park)

Ah, that explains it. We had off today and we have off Monday. All morning i've been getting the plow trucks ready and riding my snomobile around to my neighbors seeing if they need anything. I can't wait for tonight, for the first time I get to use the front end loader instead of one of the blazers.

Yeah, but figure if (highschoolers) get out early, then the little kids(elementary) can get out before the storm gets really bad. Plus, they have high pitched voices, are hella annoying, and are idiots so there's more of a chance of a bus driver getting distracted and getting in an accident. It was smart, the roads around here aren't like yours. Your roads are taken care of, most around here aren't even paved.
