www.audiobin.com was written purely by html and flash. no programs were used, this was all typed out by my web designer. id say its decent. programs, although they make pages easy to make, dont do complicated stuff, and take up a lot of space on servers. you can do a lot more with html than you may think

Not bad, but Flash is a pretty good program.
Actually, programs like Flash are pretty damn complicated. However, the product they make take up little space. And HTML is pretty heft, that is why people are resorting to PHP. And I have studied HTML for about five years now. I think I know a lot... |

basic flash isn't as hard as you may think, with a little help you can pick it up in no time. a good site for tutorials is www.flashkit.com if you're intrested.

yah flash i hate messing with too. I would say that you need to know HTML, because coding is going to help you when it comes to PHP and C+

In our Advanced Micro Computer Applications class as school, I've learned how to build websites with DreamWeaver, Fireworks, and Flash, and I'm about to start with FreeHand. Its not complicated stuff. We have a book from Macromedia that guides us through the stuff. Next semester we get to build and maintain the school's website.
