how fast is your internet actually going?
jeeze man i just figured out that im only running about 35 kbs even though im paying for 56k
check how fast your going at www.dsl.com then scroll down at the bottom and the left, should say check your dsl speed or something.
it also works with dial up, just takes longer.

What!!!!it says i am only running 609k. EIther that test is screwed up or there is something wrong with my comp...

you almost NEVER get 56k. just the way it is, either it's your end or the ISP's end.

once i got 600k i was mighty pissed that day bc my internet was bearly working

im runnin like 600kbps..... its mainly becuz we have a network, so the switch slows down the connection speed, if the comp were directly to the modem it would be significantly faster.... plus im multitasking AIM, Kazaa lite, and other crap which is slowing it down
