Hello

I Do not play paintball but i have noticed there is some what of a debate of what is beter paintball or Airsoft many say paintballs better because it hurts more and the guns are more relibael. And on the other side of the debate airsofters say airsoft is better because its more realistic. Well I hered plenty of the airsofters side i want to here yours.

What is beter airsoft or paintball and please justifi your answer.

airsoft is pretty cool. But in my opinion it hurts much more than paintballs. Also the airsoft guns are much less expensive. I like paintball much more though. The guns are just plain cooler. And there is nothing like goging someone. I guess airsoft is more realistic and if you are looking with more realisim then play that i guess. But paintball is deffinatly better.

Well I havent played airsoft but I could see a real problem with people playing in the woods with some of those guns which look incredibly real.

the sports IMO have nothing in common, airsofters think that paintball is a game of tactics which it really isnt its more of capture the flag, I think that airsoft is kinda stupid running around with little guns, but if you like it, go for it and i do a little of both but I play paintball seriously and to make a lil cash, but airsoft just to shoot my friends up

well i respect all your opinions, me being an airsoft i take up the airsoft side but ill respect paintball and am learning alot on the debate thank you all for your input.

The ponit of paintball is not to simulate modern warfare, the point of airsoft is. It's apples and oranges, there is no comparison, they are two different things.

People use paintball to simulate warfare yes, but that is not the purpose. Tourny-Ball is Pure-Ball.

Its a hell of a lot harder to find an airsoft field than a paintball field, not to mention its hard to find a bunch of people to play airsoft in the first place. (or atleast this is true around where I live)

Word. Hence why airsoft markers all look like real-world firearms.

Paintball is a sport, airsoft is a hobby. Airsoft doesn't have the organization paintball does, and neither does it have a worldwide fanbase or tournaments going on all the time like paintball (or any other sport) has.

Not that I disrespect or think lesser of those that play airsoft, that's their hobby and they can enjoy it. But in terms of airsoft being a sport, there's not much to back up that position.

airsoft got me and a friend arrested. (we were in my fenced in backyard doing some target practice) someone called the cops and they ****ing arrested us. 4 charges each,
Reckless endagerment
Endagerment to a minor (we were both under 18)
Disturbing the peace
Carrying a dangerous weapon

I got a call a week before we were due in court from the captain that said this whole thing was bull **** and erased our records, but I still had to sit in jail for an hour and have my parents come to pick us up which sucked huge ammounts of ass.

so IMO airsoft sucks cause it freaks people out and you can't play.

Cheaper- 200 for 9 bucks
Paintball
2000 for 70 dollars

I might get a AirSoft gun..Just to try, the one I'm looking at only does 120fps with 12gram bbs.

Still looks cool, shoot at your friends when they are acting stupid.

hey dude if its 200 for 9 bucks that would make it 90 bucks for 2000

and i dont usually spend 70 bucks on 2000 paintballs

i think he means 2000 not 200 and i started playing airsoft a couple weeks ago and i like it a lot better there is a lot less cheating it seems like and i like the realism of airsoft

id play airsoft but theres one problem. airsoft fields are as rare as female body parts on janet reno.

yeah im looking to get into airsoft too. the guns are more accurate so that makes it more realistic as well. you dont need a hopper or awesomly expensive gun to get then shooting 20bbps. I think its cooler and im not all into war or anything just think it looks fun, but the problem is the same here. hardly any fields to play at

well most Airsoft guns shoot well over 120 fps infact my GBB (Gas BLow Back) mac 11 shot 320 fps with .2 bb's Well for you guys loooking to get into airsoft www.uncomapny.com is a great place to start looking, look under AEG (automatic Eletric Guns) they are the best type of gun and buy TM that tokyo marui. Well nice to here all your opinions
