I was just reading Disturbeds thread about his fight, and was just wandering if anyone else had any cool fight stories or if anyone has a school fight club.

There is soo many fight clubs in Colorado, like close to 100 turn out everynight behind an extreme pizza. I'll have to put some pics up, anyone got any pics/ stories???

I REALLY... REALLY wish there were a fight club in my town.
Not for carnage, not to follow some half-assed Tyler Durden wannabe'... But just to have some fun fighting. Just to beat the **** out of a guy, or have a guy beat the **** out of me, and still be buddies afterwords.

I just like it for the rush, its soo much fun just to square off against someone and take them on one on one. I like my club because no one gets away with cheap crap, Everyone who is there makes sure that not one fights cheap.

(Btw:Lowtryx is really easy to start a club, all you need is for you and about 6 buddys to tell people at school, and people will come.) Ours has grown from around 8 first night to about 30 regularly.(and we can get tons more but usually we put a cap on it) The X-treme pizza one is just another one I have been to a few times.

Our fight clubs rules:
1: Nothing other then what you were born with maybe used. (no bats, brass, metal etc.) one exception is boxing gloves we will sometimes go bare fists other times gloves.
2: NO low blows.
3: 3 rounds 1:30 each round.
4: Names are randomly drawn from hat.
5: Kicks are above waist only. (someone got a knee blown out so we quit below waist kicks, its also easy to kick someone in the balls)
6: everyone is recomended to wear some protection)jock cup etc.
7: t-shirt and shorts (no cargo pants, hoodies etc. dont want anyone to pack anything.)

One word of advice be careful who all comes we have had a few problems with people who go over the edge. I just do it for fun, and maybe to get a little aggression out. you need to be strict with the rules becuase do to the nature of what we are doing people tend to get out of control.

o yeah one other rule. if two people whos name get called are seperated by 50 lbs or more it is up to the smaller person if they want to fight them.

my school had one- sorta... idk alot about it. i was just going down our big stacked-staircase b4 first period and on the biggest landing, there was 2 guys beatin the crap outta e/o with a buncha guys watching but they were laughing and **** but still trying hard.

lol, this is so ****in hilarious. my friends and i were actually just watching this earlier and we made an unofficial fight club. basiclly my buddy jim is like "punch me in the head, but not the nose", so i did it, and that started the fight club. kind of random, but it will grow to something great, lol

^^^ haha yeah... me n my friends have always boxed almost everyweekend for the past like 4 years but it was just us and some gloves nothing organized or anything

Heh, I'm kinda small and raised to not fight so I don't really hit people(I'd probably have to have like a broken arm to actually hurt someone for gods sake) Oh well..

Heh, that's sort of funny because the only effective kicks are the ones below the waist...I doubt I would use kicks anyway. Oh yeah, and would using your feet to trip/throw someone be considered a kick?

you have robots fighting? because honestly i went 3 rounds at 30 seconds a piece with some jock and i almost passed out...he won but only because it was his dumb jock friends judging,i layed him out 3 times.

No offense, but you must have like...zero endurance. At the boxing tournaments my school holds each year they do like the same thing. 3 rounds of 1:30 each. Yes, it's tiring, but I know they could go longer if they had to. Hell, I've foughten for a good 10-20 minutes at a time before. Of course, I do it twice a week, so I'm a bit more use to it.

Yes, because everyone knows that your coolness factor is derived from your endurance...? Wtf? I was merely stating that 30 seconds for 3 rounds is not that long. Yes, it's tiring...No doubt there. But many fighters can and will go longer when a fight (or their life) is on the line. It's amazing how much strength and endurance you can get from an adrenaline rush. While normally you may not be able to take multiple punches and keep on ticking, under these circumstances many people are easily able to do that, and for longer periods of time. In no way was I bragging (if that's what you were thinking/implying), I was merely saying that 3 rounds of 30 seconds is not that long for an organized fight.

No doubt 1:30 is tiring but what I have noticed is that the last 10 sec of the round is when the most punches are thrown.

BTW: trips and throws are fine

The rules are sorta subjective about kicks, we just try not to get anyone severley hurt, cause thats not the point.
