no man..hes talking about the calcium build up..go buy some "zap"..it works hella good, read the directions then drain the tank and take out any gravel(and the fish dummy) and use the zap like it tells you..then rinse it out really well..i did that when i had to return a 37 gallon eclipse aquarium to pets mart but they were like, heres a brand new one..so i wasted my time cleaning it.

fill the tank all the way to the top. then get a pleco (fish) he will take care of the build up. you may need to check the water for hardness also to help prevent it. tropical fish is another hobby of mine

Yeah, most aquarium fish are pretty sensitive to harsh soaps and strong acids and bases, even if you try to wash it out afterwards. Go with the pads, just to be safe.

trust me the pleco will take care of the calcium deposits. they eat the algea that gets into the pores of the calcium and it removes it at the same time.

Dude youre gonna have to scrape the calcium off with a razor. Yes I know it sucks but its what you need to do. DO NOT use cleaners like windex and bleach that will immediately fill your fish. I have 3 tanks. a 10gal for my Betta, a 20 gal for my 2 lobsters and my 55 gal Amazon river setup. I love my fishies.
