to me a ricer is someone who puts on body kits and neons and stuff just to look good. and in 99% of the cases, thats exactly what they do it for, even if they race. you really dont even need downforce until well over 100 mph, so you get my point. oh yea, body kits look uber gay imo

I like muscle cars more than any other kind of cars. I don't have a problem with nicely built Hondas, but I can't stand most of them or the people who drive them. There is a group of about 8-10 kids at my school who all have ****ty Hondas. They all lowered them, body kits, rims (some of them just take off the hubs, and think the black looks cool), then some of them paint their cars themselves. Naturally, they all look like ****. Oh ya I forgot, they put fart cans on them too. So they all have pretty much dropped out of school so they can go around stealing car systems full time to pay for the other **** on their cars (these are the fags that I'm pretty sure stole my system). But they still come back to the school during lunch time to pick up their nasty slutty girlfriends. So everytime my friends and I come out to the parking lot for lunch they are all lined up, and they've got their gay techno playing as loud as possible, and they're making those stupid whistle alarm things go off. But their cars are all extremely slow. Most engine mods consist of cool air intake, and that's about it. So I drive by in my 1984 GMC S15 (which only has 6,000 miles on the 2.8L V6, and it's not too heavy so it's pretty quick for an old pickup. It's got pretty low gears, and I can roast my tires into second). As I'm driving by I'm blaring my country music, or some AC/DC...whatevers in the CD player at the moment, and I hit my airhorns, pure redneck style. Then to top it off I'll do a massive peel out out of the parking lot, the whole time I'll be screaming YEE-HAW!!!!!
Ok...maybe not, but I wish. The whole part about the gay Civics and their gay owners is true though.

Haha, thats very true about the Cold air intake.. i was helping a friend install another friends System. While i popped the hood to see where i could break the firewall i a Cold air intake, which was totally installed wrong first off. The kid that owned the vehicle swore he could blow away my MX6. I took the challenge seeing as i knew what he had under the hood, but he didnt know what i had. Well we start the race, i didnt slam the pedal because i knew he couldnt go anywhere fast. Anyhow i stay right next to him the whole way.. what happened next made me nearly piss my pants. Seems in the whole excitement the kid forgot to shift or something. But from the sounds of it. he shoulda been in 4th rather than 2nd.. all i hear is a CLINK CLINK CLINK POW... the kid dropped his tranny. I pull up next to him to see the kid was slamming his hands on the steering wheel crying.
moral of the story: Don't be cocky punk ricer who thinks a minor upgrade and bad driving skills will win you a race. It will end up costing you a 500 dollar tranny and 300 dollar installation of you dont know how to yourself

I definetly would take a muscle car over an import. If you can drop like 80-100 thousand into mods you could take a 20 thousand dollar muscle car yes but thats about it. I would like to see some of those little imports take on the drag cars they make out of the muscle cars lol.
He dropped his tranny lol thats great just in the middle of the race?

there's this guy at my school who has an older turbo eagle talon or eclipse (they look damn near exactly the same). Anyways, he's always revving his engine, thinking he's tough ****, just cuz he's got a BOV. Thing is, his car sounds EXACTLY like my lawnmower. When he goes tearing through the parking lot, I yell "Hey, it's Turbo ***!!" Then there's the guys who have civics dropped til it's nearly impossible to go over speed bumps and fart cans and think they're the fastest things on the road. Then there's the guys with real cars; one guy has a Bricklin, basically a car from some other country (New Zealand? i forgot...), but has all domestic parts. It's got a Ford 351W, sounds nice, looks real exotic. There's a guy who has a red Mustang LX, and probably 5 early 60's Mustangs. The funny thing is, all these cars that are actually fast don't try to show off; it's the slow, POS cars that are always trying to make people think they're fast.
