Fuhreakin' A!
I was playing some good ol' PB on sunday, and I lost my wallet! I knew I shouldnt have kept it with me, but I felt safer than keeping it in the staging area. I checked every so often to see if i Had it, and at the start of the last game I didnt. It pisses me off because I have been saving money for a few months, and I had over half my money in there. And it's all gone! I also lost my school ID, movie rewards card, discount cards, pics of friends, and other things.
Remeber my "The Best feeling in the world..." thread about finding money? I guess this is kinda the opposite.
And if anyone finds it, they wont give it back. And if they do, there wont be any money in it because people will just take it.
Bah.

ive found wallets ith money and stuff in them and returned them unmolested, so it goes to reason that others would do the same as well. hell i lost my debit card (forgot it at the ATM) and when i returned i found it torn in half and on a shelf. whoever found it tore it so it wouldnt work anymore so others couldnt take it and left it so i could have comfort in knowing its safe.
dont keep your hopes too high but dont lose all hope either

Thats why I never keep alot of money in my wallet, as I constantly forget about it for example, in the past week, it has gone through the wash twice.

I had like $45 in it. And I'm pretty sure I did loose it during a game. I checked for it inbetween games and sometimes during games, so I think it was when i was playing.
I'm thinking it was when i got hit, because it was in the same pocket as my barell cover. And when I opened my pocket to get the cover, the wallet might have fallen out.

Lost my wallet with 800 bucks 2 credit cards, debit card, student ID, movie cards and various other crap. It got returned with everything but only 795 dollars. The guy who returned it apologized and said he needed to get gas to bring it to my work or else he woulda ran out. i told him it was more than ok and he went home 50 bucks richer. Humanity isnt ALL bad.. just 99% of em, i got lucky.

that sucks man, I found a wallet and returned it once. Belive me not all people are that bad. I think it only had like 20-30 bucks in it, but still.
I've never lost a wallet, but I got my bike stolen, and that I think is just as bad considering it was a $500 bike. And I know how ya feel...willing to do anything to get it back.

Why do you people carry around so much money? I don't like to carry around more that $20. If I ever have more than that then I just put it in a safe spot in my room or in the bank. Unless of course I'm going somewhere to use that money.

Okay, sucks about the wallet, you can probably write off the cash, but the whole thing may turn up so don't give up hope.
Here's a valuable tip from someone that's seen a lot of people searching for wallets/keys in the woods over the years:
Go to an Army Surplus store, even with the stigma of camos in paintball the surplus store has a use. Look for the police/security supplies. Get a velcro-close latex glove belt-pouch. This is your new wallet. It fits securely on those thin boyscout-style belts (if you wear BDUs) or the velcro waist-adjusters on most paintball pants (works fine on my Dyes). It's big enough to carry your ID (in case you're somehow incapacitated, it stays with you and someone at the field or hospital will eventually notice it) and a folded wad of bills (change can suck, but who cares if you lose a couple of quarters), but is flat enough that it won't interfere with your pod pack or dig into your side all day. Next, look for a belt keypouch, with a strong clip and velcro flaps. Your keys won't rattle, your remote is protected, and you can easily keep unattended gear in your trunk without fear of theft. A grand total of about $10, and by far the best way of managing your stuff that I have found.

I carry around a big red wallet whenever I play at a field. I usually notice obvious stuff on the ground as I walk off [always looking for free pods and stuff, ya know]. I did drop it once on a rainy day.. it probably fell out when I was sliding to the 50... the wallet was sticking out of the mud and one of my teammates was like "Is that your wallet over there?"
