I am not sure how many of you will have any idea that im talking about but here it goes. We are launching 2 liter bottles in my astronomy class and this weekend I have to design one with fins and a cone and stuff and i was wondering if anyone one here and done this before and knew some awesome secret so I could get a better time. Any help would be nice because i have no idea what I am going to do.

i did it last semester. make sure u put wheight in the cones and it is taped down! if it is not taped, it will screw it all up. use 3 fins, it works best. slightly angle the fins a couple degrees, so it spins.

alright take a big piece of poster board and roll it into a point shape and then tape it down with some strong tape (duct or packaging). make three fins but dont make your fins overly big. it will really awkward with the long pointy front, but it will fly really high.

i will try this. Even though it sounds like a it would look like a nuclear bomb i will do it and see what i get. If it doesnt go anywhere o well i get 2 more tries. Thanks a lot. Keep the suggestions comming please

From a manala folder make a point for the cone and put a lot of hot glue in it, then hot glue it onto the bottle. For fins...do what they say
