Wrong forum, there's already a thread about it. You can comment on a post (and it sends the comment to the person) and make their rep go up or down.

Its a new feature that is actually pretty cool. If you see someone contributing to the forum you may choose to boost their reputation or if they are spamming of flamming, you can lower their reputation.
Its a pretty fair system. I am going to allow users to leave up to 10 reputation comments each day.... but to ensure that you aren't just trying to damage someones reputation you will need to leave 15 reputations with other people before you can modify another members reputation for a second time.
Abuse of this system will also be watched for. Abuse it and you will be banned.

And to answer your question about why everyone has a C+... that is because C+ is the starting reputation. You have to build up your reputation over time.

Yeah, its pretty cool huh.
If you meet the criteria, the account will be automatically updated for you after about 1 hour. And I'm still trying to find out how to get an exact number on how many repuation points you have. I'll look into it.
Since this is a new and important issue I'll leave this thread in the lounge (even thought it is out of place.)
I would really like to see everyone start using the repuation system as I think it offers a great way for people to see just how a member is viewed by other forum members.

seriously, i see people ive never even noticed before on the forum with a rep of 20.... its not accurate and people can give people rep points that dont deserve it. its good in theory i guess, but it doesnt work out how it should. we should just get rid of it, because new members will seek people with a high rep count, but they may have not really earned it

Also people can lower it just because they don't like you or some other immature reason.
