Due to the new reputation system.. the promotions have been updated to reflect the new promotion scores.

The criteria for Established Member:
A reputation of at least +6.
A minimum of 30 days on the forum.
A minimum post count of 100.

The criteria for Elite Member:
A reputation of at least +21.
A minimum of 90 days on the forum.
A minimum post count of 700.

so i'm confused on this whole thing. the mods give out the points right? if they see a good post, or if soemone pm's them about a good post, they give a reputation point to the person who posted?

yes, thats true. Some of the really active people like alpha, medic, d smalls, etc. Have very high point counts because they're usually first to post. I have 6 points because I just posted a few good posts... although i posted at least 2 or 3 awsome posts that were referenced to in other threads, but I never got a point for

YEa, rep is like tat. I dont care much for it, although I dont complain abotu getting + rep.

You really gotta post in a section that will get noticed, and post something long and informative, or short, informative and to the point.
