you cant judge jeter by his stats thats the problem with people, they think "oh so and so has more home runs that makes him a better player" but what about those clutch situations, consider all of the plays jeter has made in the playoffs and world series. Consider how many world series rings he helped win, dont look at stats, watch some playoff games, watch the world series and then compare jeter to those other short stops

I'm not an average joe fan. I know stats tend to lie, and clutch is not a stat, but if you compare Jeter's accomplishments to Nomar's, they simply do not match up.
Jeter is better at Defense, and is better in the playoffs, but other then that, he is mediocore compared to Tejada, Nomar or Guillen.(A-Rod when he was a SS)

You have to remember his play in the last Yankees world series. When he was backing up the play at home? He's hella clutch

if you are talking about the backhand pickup toss, it was a few years ago in the playoffs against oakland. Sadly, jeter gets all the credit for the play, yet posada, who had to make the blind split second tag doesnt get any. The great thing is, posada wouldnt have it any other way.

I would definitly say that jeter is the better man. Some of you guys will just have to wait until the World Series. But still Ozzy owns all.
