Photoshop and Animation..

Using Animation In Imageready--

-Animate you Favorite Paintball Marker

First u need to open Photoshop

Then u need to go to file/open and open the pic of the gun

It says index in the layer, so you will not be able to add new layers to it, so take the picture and use the rectangular marquee tool (M) and outline the picture.

Then go edit/copy

Then open up a new window file/open of 100 x 100 pixels.

Go to edit/ paste in the new window

Then you are now going to want to use the lasso tool (L)

Make a circle around the trigger as close to it as you can go edit/copy

Open another new window and paste the trigger into it. If there is anything other than the silver of the trigger on the side closes to the trigger frame take the eraser tool and erases the extra off.

Now go back to the layer u just took the trigger from. Use the lasso tool again and where the trigger was make a shape in there and go edit/copy
Then press ctrl+v (copy) and use the move tool (V) to drag the highlighted area to cover up the trigger. Press ctrl+v again, and put it over another part of the trigger, continue doing this until the whole trigger is gone.

Then go back to the layer with only the trigger and while using (V) drag the trigger to the layer that u just removed the trigger from.

Put the trigger so it is moved back as far as you want it to be.

Then go Layer/merge down. And the layers will merge together. Then open up the original pic again. And like in the previous step highlight he whole pic and copy it. Click the layer that you’ve been working with and click layer/new layer

Go to edit/paste to paste the original pic into the new layer.

Now you will be getting ready to go to image ready.

Now yours should be looking a lot like my layer palette.

You need to click only the eye for the one layer at a time. So only one eye will be visible at a time.

Click the button on the bottom of the screen to go to image ready. Now click the item in the circle above to make a duplicate layer,
Go back to Photoshop and click the click he other eye this time, while unlocking the other eye. So once again only one eye is visible.

Now click the image ready button again to switch back to Photoshop

Now you should be done with the animation. Just click the play button in the frames box to make sure everything works right.

Congratulations now you’re done

More to come My friends

Eh, I don't care for the "find edges"/"glowing edges" filters.

The net graphics culture needs to move away from easy filters and create their own graphical effects.
