Sport Bikes anyone?
I've got to say I'm in love with them. Whenever I see a nice bike go flying by I get a nice tingly feeling in me. I want one so bad but I have a dilemna, mom won't let me. Now I want to get one at 15 but as long as I live at home I cannot get one. But when I move out I'll be paying for everything on my own because my family is poverty and will be in debt after their dead so I'll be paying for everything.
So if I'm looking to ever get one it will be after college and after I get married and then the wife might not like it. But heres the cool part, my current girlfriend is in love with them. She drools over Ducattis.
IF IF IF I get married to her I'll get myself a gixxer or a cbr and buy her a ducatti. :P
But I'm just in love with Crotch Rockets I would do anything for one. My favorites are GSX-R's, CBR's, ZX-7's, and R6's. When I get one I'll probably pick up a 600cc. After a few years of riding I would pick up a Liter Bike. Most likely an R1.
I'm getting a pocket bike soon to so that will be fun.

No thanks, my uncle almost died on his Honda when he cut a dear in half and my neighbor down the street died at 32 years old riding his bike (he was decapitated by a sign when cut off by a truck). They are too dangerous around here because of all the cars and people. I'm sure out in Kansas you got plenty of space, but it is way too dangerous around here.

more of a cruiser fan myself, dads got a vulcan 750. Not much but it gets the job done. WAY more comfortable than sport bikes on long trips thought. but whatever floats your canoe. And if you or anyone else here gets a sport bike, my words of wisdom - your not cool just because you can pop a wheelie and hold it for 3/4 or a second.

That takes no skill. Usually you give it all gas and it throw you back for a second or to. It's all about pulling it up and giving it the right amount of gas and using the back break. My uncle who has a ZX-7 was telling me how to do all this. He even let me drive it because he lives in South Dakota on a farm in the middle of nowhere. I was too scared to go super fast though.

I'd love to have a GSXR 600, that would be more than enough for me. But there have been too many bike-related wrecks around here, so my chances of living would be slim to nothing. Plus, there are too many people that drive drunk around where I live. Around where I live, the guy that owns the local off-road park(badlands) has to be one of the people I would think would get a bike. But, he told me that if you wreck, there is no point in buying a casket b/c there will be nothing left of you.

I call them suicide bikes. They would be cool on a racetrack, but too dangerous on the roads with all the bad drivers nowdays. I feel scared enough of some drivers in my car, a bike would be that much worse.

You know what I find quite amazing is that there are companies making pushrod V-8's and sticking them in motorcycles. If I had money to waste I would buy one just for that. The complexity and size must be quite an amazing piece of work. It must sound good too.

Nah, got a Viper here already. I don't like that V-10 sound, the cat's came out of it just to make it sound better. Pushrod 8's is where it's at for me.

Sport Bikes Rock!!!
There is no feeling in the world like hitting the twisties on a sport bike, in fact, I like riding more than I like paintball. But riding for me is so much more than just fun. I ride as a way to cope with the things I see at work. It doesnt matter what it is, a baby that we cant do any thing for, a families home burns down, a drunk driving accident where the sober driver dies while the drunk walks away. It doesnt matter what I see in the ER, in the Ambulance or on the Helicoptor, it all goes away when I am on my bike. People ask me how I can ride a sport bike after seeing so many accidents, these people have obviously never ridden, and will never understand.
