Dont get Grokster!!
I found a program called grokster. You can dl lots of crap free like movies, games, etc. So when i install it i keep getting a message that i got a trojan horse virus!   . Do not dl this program unless you have a good antivirus, and right after you install it scan you comp for viruses. |

I did a search, and went to the site. You click the dl link from there and it takes you to cnet or some crap like that to dl it from. Just dont dl it. It sucks, period.

Its the same crap you get when you download Kazaa, Bearshare, or Morpheus, or any other P2P program.
This is HOW they companies make money.
It is legal because in the software distribution license that you clicked "YES" to says they have the right to stick anything they want on your computer.
Now, if you really want "something for nothing", there exist hacked versions of all these p2p programs that have the spy/adware removed, such as Kazaalite/K++. But keep in mind, the record companies are watching your every move...
