Meh Own Shack
I wanna build a little shack that I can do stuff inside, not something too big but something that does have some moving space. It's gunna be mave of wood but the base will be concrete or maybe wood/dirt. My dad stays its gunna cost too mcuh but I can handle it. Anyone got any cheap ways to build this thing with some strength? I want brick walls but I know that will be hard. I will also need to make a door and shingles on the roof...with a gutter, lol.

I have a "Club House" in the woods behind my house. It is actually pretty cool. It's frame is made of 2x4's and the walls are treated plywood. I used some tin left over from the house and put on it. It's like a dull green and has the Realtree camo netting stuff on it. It's got a lock on the door, too. It's pretty cool. It's mainly just a place for me and my buddies to hang out. I keep a radio, a few chairs, random tools, and a calendar in there. It's pretty cool.

Oh, it's a share your story thread.
Well, I have my own balcony. It's pretty. It has wasps that sting you. It's paint is chipping off.
Yay!

you are basically gonna want to build a toolshed, so go to your home depot and buy a book on how to buy tool sheds.
But your dad is right, its gonna be expensive, and it is very hard to build (which is why you have pros build sheds and stuff for you if you want it done well)

Well we have a TON of wood so i'll us emost of it and get it cut. My uncle has a frecking truckload of wood and some meatl he never uses. So we basically just gotta buy the shigles and the concerete which comes about to $50-75 if i'm correct. We have tons of things we dont need so i'll use as many resources as I can get. But really thx for the advice. I'm not quite sure what i'll use for the light source....maybe run it off of batteries? But I will need to get an outlet in there...any tips?

your gonna need to put some kind of foundation for something you want to stay standing longer than a few months...Not a HUGE deep one just like 8 or 10 inches down and some steel bars and then pour the concrete in it and you got some kind of foundation...

Well my dad and I have got an idea. We have a 2 car garage behind our house and my dad uses it as his workplace so he said he'll clean out one side and then build a wall with a door in the middle of it and let me use it as a workplace. Once I get that dorr i'm gunna get a lock on the outside...lol. It has shelfs in there too so I can put stuff up there and when I get my upcomming go-kart I can drive it in as night. It's about 20 x 9 and it has lights and outputs along with a ceiling fan.
