One piece of advice to add. Tell her it was only sex and it didn't mean anything. Girls get more upset if they think you had a meaningful emotional connection than if you just wet your willy, whereas guys would prefer girls to connect emotionally and not physically. I'm not saying this is gonna save your situation, but as it is, it can't really hurt it.

She took it really hard at first. but after hearing what I had to say she looked at me and said something like how am I supposed to love you if I have to be mad at you and gives me this kiss that was so wierd it was the best kiss I had ever had and it was like she meant it more than anything.

this will never ever happen again. I never thought I would cheat on a girl if I actually liked her but i found that I still could it just hurt me more than her. I really do love the girl and I knew it more than ever.

Im sure Im down a peg now but at least I know that i can be up front and honest with her and she will take it for what its worth.

as far as the idea of not telling her. I wouldn't have been able to do it. I know I can never cheat again because of what it did to me and what it could have done to her.
second chances are amazing. a friend asked me if she cheated on me would I be mad at her? and I answered no...Id just have to kill the guy.

Congrats, Nick.. It worked out.
But, it looks like you may have a strong relationship. If she can take this sort of thing 'in stride' so to speak, taking into account the context in which the events happened, you two could do very well together.

Good Job Nick, Very good of you to own up to it. At least you are getting in the tests in this relationship pretty fast... be it the thing over your best friend or this. Looks like if you really want to stay with this girl you are gonna have to keep your nose clean for awhile. Maybe swear off the woman for now, lol. There is always college if it doesn't work out. But the amount of caring and responsibility you showed says something for how you must feel. Congrats on it all. Good luck with it all and I hope you can continue to be happy in your pursuits.

I think players are worse than cheaters...doing the same thing to multiple girls at once. Im not like that I don't hustle...Ive gotten on alot of girls but normally not at the same time. I think making that mistake was terrible. I can't explain how bad I felt all of last night and today.

good for you for telling her, im not afraid to say i'm not sure i would have done it, even though i knew it was the best thing to do.

I'm not saying it was a good thing what you did, cheating on her that is, but in a way this could actually help your relationship in the long run. If you guys can get through something like that, you can get through almost anything.

BTW, be prepared to be her ***** for awhile, no matter how much she forgives you your gonna have be groveling at her feet for a long time. A nice thing of flowers couldn't hurt your cause any either.

Most players I know aren't shady about it. Usually if somebody cheats they keep it quiet... It's one of those, would you rather have somebody lie to your face, or be verbal about some BS.
Anyways, congrats on things working out. And at least now you know that cheating isn't worth it.

good point. She already said we need to slow down which is understandable..I think she will be back to her old self soon. Im not to worried really. Heh not much of a flower guy but ill look into it.
