I seriously hate tonight...I have to tell my girlfriend that I cheated on her and she might not accept it in good faith and never talk to me again. I hate it so much. I actually like her. Any other time ive done it I haven't cared because I didn't think it was that big of a deal...but doing it to her seriously messed me up inside. Then I started thinking that she might just hate me and never talk to me again. I love her and I think she loves me at the same level and thats why I have to tell her. She would never find out unless I tell her but I don't think I could live with my self lying to her. So tonight she has volleyball practice then a pasta supper and shes coming over.
guess I just wanted to say it again.

what would you do....(im not gonna listen to you because I have my mind set)
tell her and have a trusting relationship that you won't make a mistake again
keep it from her to save your self and her the pain
im gay

the thing I hate more than anything is a really good friend did the same thing. he messed up cheated but then told his girlfriend of a year...she hasn't talked to him since. karen is really forgiving and all for second chances but I can't help thinking Ill never see her again.

Well it's your fault you did it. You should've thought about the consequences before you cheated on her. But you should tell her, I mean it's not going to be the end of the world. There's plenty of fish in the sea.

tell her, but dont blame her if she never talks to you again. cheating is the worst thing you can do to someone you are in a relationship with, so be prepared for the worst, and dont blame her or make her feel guilty if she never wants to speak to you again.

im not judging your character, but i think cheating is the worst thing a girl or guy can do to a guy or girl. expect an equal consequence.

and at least you are telling her. you're a good man for that. besides the whole cheating part.

I am actually a really bad person. Im aware that she will probably hate me. I can't hate on her or make her feel bad I wouldn't do that. Im gonna just put it as I can understand if you hate me and never wanna talk to me again.

Not that it matters but I didn't start the problem Its not like I went out with the intention of cheating. I was asleep and there was a beautifull girl in the bed next to me. She started it off and I didn't stop anything and just went with it...it happened in the moment and i didn't think of karen once and thats terrible.

I think by making a mistake and owning up to it makes things better than me continueing on like nothing happening and not letting her know.

as far as...there are other fish in the sea...not like karen shes special and I really really hope that things work out.

Im actually a pretty terrible person when it comes down to it and karen makes me be nice and makes me a better person. I can still make mistakes but Im all around much better with her. I don't get insanely drunk anymore Im more straight forward and im comfortable with her. Im just praying it all works out. not sure what ill do if it doesn't.

see thats what I need to hear. I really think it will work out. I know the way she thinks but theres always a chance that it won't and thats my biggest fear right now.

Dont fear anythign about love. IF you really love her, you'll be able to accept her anger and take the consequences. Even if that means her not talking to you for a while.. I'm sure if you both have a good relationship you will make amends.

Starting out with something like "Look (sugar, honey, martha, whatever you call her), I love you so much.. And I can't lie to you anymore.." And just come clean.

i came to the conclusion that you can not lie... yeah lying is the best way.. but thats ghey.. youll feel like **** for a long time..

so then i thought.. id be immature and make a joke. but then the glaring 3rd option made me question my sexuality.. so i said bullocks to that..

I'm not much help in these type of situations but my only advice would be that to expect the worst going into it so you're not as distraught if the worst situation does occur.

Good luck with it if it's meant to be then I hope you two stay together and overcome this.

Don't tell her? Shure you'll feel like **** but you'll feel better being with her than if she left you. It will probably be hard not to confess but you just gotta forget about it. BTW is this the 1st time you cheated on her? Cuz if this is like the 3rd time you should just tell her.

I'm not going to sugar coat this, so don't read this if you only want to hear what you want to hear. I don't know what I would do in that situation because I will never be in that situation, because I will never cheat on someone. Ever. Put yourself in her situation. If someone cheated on you, would you be capable of forgiving them? I sure as hell would not be willing to consider that possibility. Cheating is more than just a breach of trust. It's like an admission that the person you are with isn't enough for you. Try telling your girlfriend she can't satisfy you and see where it gets you. I would never be able to forget that the possibility for her to cheat on me again was there. That kind of trust can not be rebuilt.

I know some guys just can't help themselves, and I don't dislike people because they give in to their urges. But at the same time I can't respect them in the same way I did before.

I hope for your sake that she is as forgiving as you seem to think, but you gotta be reasonable and accept the fact that it just might not happen. Prepare yourself, so it doesn't hit you too hard. Good luck.
