youre too old once you get a job, cause by that time, youll get enough money in two hours at work to buy 4x the amount of candy you could get in the same amount of time
now its all about scaring the poo out of little kids who wanted to leave their parents behind this year for the first time

I can't remember if I was 14 or 15 my last year, but I remember going as Dark Helmet. One of my friends (who could drive at the time) went as Darth Vader, and we would stand on people's doorsteps arguing about whom’s helmet was better. We even had his car decorated with aluminum foil and cardboard to look like a ghetto Star Destroyer. A bunch of us spent most of the night cruising around wile people were trick-or-treating (with Star Wars music playing, of course) so we could shoot them with supersoakers* and accuse them of opposing the empire.
Yes, we were some very ridiculous kids.
It's a lot more fun scaring the trick-or-treaters than it is being one, though. This year, I'm thinking about hanging some sort of dead body or something from the trees in my driveway and dropping it on kids when they walk up. Probably with a smoke machine set up to make the area all creepy, and I'd like to get some kind of really loud screeching sound (doom3 sounds, maybe?) to play when a motion detector is tripped.
*This took place back when Supersoakers were cool
