I really don't know how to say this, I am chris's brother , I guess you know him by Rams. He told me like 3 months ago if anything ever happened to him to come here to this site and post i guess here? This is really hard on me but I'm sorry he was killed in a ied attack on his convoy today , he was 26 years old married with 3 kids, 8,7 and 1 month old. I'm sorry if this wasnt the right place or if you didnt know him

My friend often spoke of him. He played Americas army with him. Really wrenches the heart. It just proves that some people will go to the ends of the world, and then some to protect other people's freedom.
I'm suprised I'm affected as much as I am. I mean, I never spoke or directly communicated for the guy and I still feel bad for him. If I could, I'd go to his funeral and try to comfort his family. Sadly, I'm broke, and its probably far away, and I'm underage.. Anytiem I hear about a soldier dieing, its sad, but I've never been affected as much as this.
If you want to pay your respects on the post at SAW's website, do so, but DO NOT SAY ANYTHING RUDE OR ANYTHING WRONG ABOUT THE WAR.

not that it has happened yet, but to anyone who thinks any less than highly about any soldier or what they do.....
STFU
my father was an airborne ranger (just like I plan to be eventually) and he has taught me respect. I know now how hard it really is to become a soldier.
so before you say anything bad, answer these questions
when is the last time you did something for your country?
would you sacrifice your own life knowing that it could save the lives of others?
have you ever seen how difficult it really is to beocme a soldier?
so please, for the sake of all fo us, do nothing but think highly of our soldiers fighting for or freedom.
best prayers to Chris,
-Rock Force

Me? I sent straight cash to a guy I know who buys crap for soldiers that live in Tuscaloosa. I don't know what to get them, and in the end, it's just cash anyway. Let someone who knows what they want buy them stuff.
BTW, noone is going to flame soldiers. It's even more politically incorrect than , thanks to 9/11. At least some good came from that.

Soldiers choose to go into war, to fight for this country's freedom, knowing that they may never come back to there warm comforting home with peace and love in it. And I greatly respect and appreciate them for doing it, one day I will be a soldier fighting for freedom in this country.

Thanks Alpha, I posted something too. My Best friends sister just came back from over there. She's at walter/reed in DC. Her convoy was hit late on the 16/17th......she's alive, but may never walk again.
I've told my friend more then once to be grateful that she's alive and after reading about him it just reinforces what I told her - thank you......
