It was pretty funny, and it shows exactly why the ratings for "The Daily Show" are dropping severly.

The Daily Show has always been kinda liberal. I figured it was a spoof on real news, and real news is also usually liberal. I personally loved the show because "I got it".

But within the last 6 months, the Daily-Show has become EXTREMELY liberal, and very anti-bush. Jon Stewart himself admits he hates Bush, and many of the Daily-Show writers ALSO WORK for John Kerrys compaign.

However, I don't care. Its a free country. It is Stewarts show, and he can do whatever he wants. He is loosing viewers faster then he is gaining him, but the show still has its advertisers.

What annoys a lot of people is that, unfortunetly, alot of ignorant people use the Daily-Show AS THERE ONLY SOURCE OF NEWS, and may not realize Jon Stewarts obvious anti-Bush rhetoric is full of lies.... etc.
Stewart uses the EXACT same excuse for telling lies as Michael Moore and Al Franken: He says he is doing COMEDY, and NOT NEWS. So, he can do whatever he wants.

I agree- I think it IS comedy, so it doesnt bother me at all. But, like I said, many people do not.

I totally agree with you on that, I watch the Daily Show solely for comedic entertainment. People that only watch the Daily Show for there news are stupid, but to me, I think that people that can't see that it is not a serious show are equally as stupid.

Being a young man and not able to vote, most of my news does come from the Daily Show. I think it's easy to filter out the crap though.

i think the daily show is funny, i support bush 100% and i still like watching the show. Its not real news, it shouldnt be taken as real news, and it never will be real news. People need to relax and not take him so seriously (which makes himself feel important, which he isnt)

Comics can say things that political commentators can not, since commentators have to watch what they say, while comics can say whatever they want... and claim "comedy" if it offends anyone.

In high school I had a really liberal cwp teacher that showed daily show clips in class sometimes. And all we ever read was newsweek, a piece of crap liberal trash magazine I hated every minute of the lies in that class. Although the class was awesome cause it was out of control, somehow just about every troublemaker/class clown was in that class. Chaos.

For that reason, I don't like Rush Limbaugh. I always get the impression he is just telling me what I want to hear.
If BUSH does something stupid, I want to hear that it was stupid. I don't like spin.

And both sides have plenty of spin-masters. Ultimetly, I don't think the LEFT itself is wrong. It represents a certain phylosophical point of view of politics.
I don't agree with that view, but it is certaintly valid.
