What do you think?
Well, today is thanksgiving and its tradition that the varsity's have a game with our rivals. This freshman season I was a captain of the team, and I started jv. The coaches told me im going to be an impact player and that they are definetaly going to let me suit up for the thanksgiving game. Well it turns our they picked other people and not me. My dad is yelling at me because I dont want to go to the game because he thinks its all about me not suiting up. Hell I just feel real lazy, what do you think?

Dont be a *****. If your coach says your good enough to be called up to varsity- hes got you there for a reason. Even if your backup and dont get in, he still considers you good enough.

Just go. Show support. Freshman year is about getting the reigns of the high school game. Next year, varsity for sure.

Going would show some character, whether you want to or not. You need to be able to support your school even if they don't choose you to play. Show some school spirit, maybe the coaches will see that and respect it and give you your shot. Nothing good can happen from not going, nothing bad can happen from going.
