Some gay away message
Hey,
Alright, well long story short:
Dumbass friend's computer gets hit by this aimbot thing or something, i went to click on a link to somewhere then her away message pops up and i accidentally click the link. Now the **** installed on my computer, and I deleted it, but the away message randomly pops up on my sn now, and if someone else clicks it thier computer gets infected. Anyone know a quick fix for this? It's pissing me off.

No, an away message pops up with a link to this site, which if you click it infects your computer with it, so your aim starts using this website. You can't even get the task manager thing up.

i suggest open the Help menu on the Buddy List window, and click report a bug.

ICQ is so old school. Everyone around here uses MSN, and most of you crazy American kids seem to use AIM.

Icq is the easiest to find ppl on. cept now ppl are spamming owell.
Its all the craze in ohio lol. im never on anymore.
when i had AIM i could never find any1.
and i have RR. but it wont let me set up the AIM compatible messenger.

most people have aim now. not as many ppl have MSN as aim now

Yah I switched because MSN is apparently easier to hack, and it was always just gayer with my computer in all respects. Wouldn't let me close it, crap like that.

happen to me about a month after uninstalling the stuff it finally stopped... also get spybot search and destroy i run that weekly to get bugs off it's freeware i got it at downloads.com or usmthing..

I've got spybot s&d and ad aware se and norton anti virus corporate edition and none of it is catching it.

I would suggest formatting your hard drive. I formatted mine, cuz I had soo many spyware things and adware, that my comp was crazy slow....I mean really slow...really really really slow. So, I formatted it and has run awesome ever since....thats my suggestion...

Why does everyone suggest formatting first? Formatting is like the last resort. It's what you do if you can't fix it any other way...
