Commin over
So guys, after watching many videos, and reading a few reviews, I have come to the conclusion that I am going to buy a cyborg. They are infact the coolist guns I have ever seen. I will most likely end up buying it mid summer after I save up a bit, but I thought that now that I know I am getting one, I thought I would ask a few questions...
How is the proformance out of the box for the sonic borg?
How easy is the trigger to mod?
Where can I find these low gram switches?
Mucho thanko... (gracious er however you spell it, silly mexicans)

you can also buy them at radio shack for around $3, and you don;t have to pay shipping. you need a sautering iron to install them i think, at least thats the wa it is on my gun.

no you can't and no you don't.
You can't buy them at radioshack, I tried and they're too big, the only way I can get them is tantrum or paintballtrader. You don't have to sauter them either they have pins like on the spyder trigger.
So yea, get it from tantrum.

oh... well i know you can buy switches for spyders and other markers like it at radio shack, i guess it makes sense that they use different switches in a higher end stuff like a cyborg.

Maybe spyders but when I tried it for bushys it didnt fit. I think cyborgs use the same microswitch as bushys but I'm not sure. But it definitely doesn't look like you could fit a radioshack one in there.

yeah i looked it up and the switches are completely different, and cyborgs and bushmasters use the same switches. the switches in spyders only have two prongs (and two wires) and i saw a cyborg switch and it had three prongs, so even if the spyder switch did fit it wouldnt work.
edit: and a few posts ago when i said you needed a sautering iron, i meant to attach/detach the wires, not just install the switch. i know they are held in by pins or screws, but if the wires arent attached to the switch you won't be playing paintball that day

you don't necessarily need a sautering iron. You could just tie the wires around it if it has a hole. But yea, the best thing would be to use a sautering iron.

I borrowed it for practice yesterday and I had to fix it. I'm lovin it. It's too ****ing bouncy now though, it just does pull auto whenever i pull the trigger. Guess I should turn the bounce filter on.

i thought they put in the 120 gram switch to get rid of bounce? i know there is an on/off filter for bounce and other things... but i didnt think a 120g switch would have bounce in the first place. if you put in a 25g switch and turn on bounce filter will it still get bounce?

they use a 80g stock i thought. Ppl were putting lighter switches in, but found it bounced.
my guess is u'd get a little w/ a 25g and high debounce.

It might be 80g stock, I'd put my money on that if I had to. Of course you can just check tantrum.

You can take apart the switch and bend the clip and stuff like that.

youre thinking of icd. it says on tantrum that the 80g switch comes stock on all icd markers, but if you are looking for a switch lighter than the 120 gram switch that comes stock in the cyborg, you can buy this as an upgrade, or something to that effect.
