Do you guys know anything about how well Macdev ships their products? My friend and I ordered our Nitro tanks (LegionAir Preset) together off his account from their site. The problem is we haven't heard a thing for them on it being shipped. So we e-mailed them, and still haven't received any response in over a week. My friend hasn't been billed yet so it hasn't been shipped. But wtf! If the tanks are out of stock then it should be labeled as such on the site, or emailed to you the instant you order it. They haven't even responded to our damn email! So I was wondering if you guys would happen to know if their stuff is out of stock or something. I don't really feel like calling them because they are based in Australia, and that could get costie. Talk about poor customer service!

Tanks take 2 weeks because they are in Australia and ship from there, just so you know, and I never got a tracking number for my tank.

If you were smart you would have contacted Paintball Kingdom, their USA distrubitor, and you should have bought it there. This way it would get to you faster and calling them wouldn't cost you everything you own.

I would have done that MP11. But Paintball Kingdom only has their $400 tank. Not the preset one. 818_Baller did they bill (charged) you though when they shipped it? Normaly I wouldn't be worried but my friend hasn't been charged yet. When did you order your tank?

critical paintball and compulsive paintball are also US distributors of macdev products.

If they billed you, they're gonna ship it, if they didn't they won't

Also I ordered my borg from pbkingdom 8 days ago, and it'll be here in a few hours, so just goes to show.

I think something is going on with their site, maybe they're doing something with their server. I'm not sure exactly but I know macdev really cares about there customers and they will straighten stuff out for you if something starts going bad.

lol, on pbkingdom the preset tanks are on the second page, did you look on the second page?

ordering directly from mac dev though, you could expect two weeks or more since they have to fly/sail it half way around the world...

ok guys.... First guy... If you knew ne thing. There is a shortage on Carbon Fiber.. I play for a Sponsored team, and we don't get our tanks yet... I put in an order for mine 2 months ago.... but Momma's boys get first dibs and ppl who had orders before me on 68/4500s... And it takes a while for them to make tanks and they are costly

Dave, ur borg took 8 days cause it had to be shipped from the boonies of NC to Cali.. and the order processing time

MacDev has some great customer service and they are a great group of ppl (macdev is only 6-8 ppl in size)

The reason for their e-mail problem is that #1 - your e-mail was blocked by their server or put into a spam folder and #2 - they have been having system problems latley that they e-mailed me aabout.

your best bet for ordering MacDev products in Paintball Kingdom. Great group of ppl w/ nice prices on stuff

PBkingdom IS actually out of legionairs. And have only been selling lp tanks for some time, must have exhausted those also. Bunkertime is right, there is a shortage of carbon fiber at the moment, i've heard b/c it's all going towards the Iraqi war. Just look at most big sites, they are almost always out of crossfire and other big name tanks.

Arn't all US orders to macdev put in through pbkingdom anyway bunkertime?

If I knew anything? Why do you think I was asking? Of course I didn't know, hence the reason why I made the post in the first place, which you answered me. But there was no reason for that statement and it was uncalled for.

As you could most likely guess I am pretty mad about this. I just spent about half of the money I have in my freaking bank account for new paintball stuff, so I could do some paintballing this summer before heading off for my first year at college. Now I have all my crap, except the thing that actually shoots my brand spanking new gun. So pretty much you just told me I spent all this money that I saved up for something I can't even use till after I go to school and come back, so pretty much a whole year.

Macdev should have had something on there website saying they were backed up for freaking months! I mean not everyone knows about these things that happen, like no fiber wrapping being around. If I knew about this I wouldn't even had ordered it. Now that I have already wasted a good 2 weeks so far, I get to waste even more to call Macdev and cancel my order. Then find some crappy tank to buy and wait another week (or longer) for it to arrive. What an awesome summer I am having!

Either I am very lucky or your rumors are incorrect. I just received my Nitro tank today from Macdev. And it was only took 2 weeks, not months.
