The trigger frame looks like **** on there. Too many colors, black/red/silver.

I give it an 8 though.

I would drill my bolt, but I get plenty good efficiency right now (without the QEV, ordered that a couple days ago, still on back order)...I am getting about 1200 shots from a 68/3000 fill w/o the QEV.

Get the 45* Element frame when that comes out as well. I am getting that for my Ion when it comes out as well, along with a new bolt, Foehn body, and I will be doing the membrane mod and hi-lite mod after christmas sometime.

So...calculating rough prices of what you have now and what you are still to put on there, you have spent over 750$ on a 300$ gun. I don't understand the motiv e behind this. The ION will break on you, everyone who I know that owns one has had major problems with it, including myself. You could get something a lot nicer for 1050$

5/10 the colors aren't doing it for me.

cool thing is.. i didnt pay for the gun.. i traded for it. xbox+games+networking equp.

what should i do to they body? dont wnat to spend so much on looks as of now. foehn body coming later.

Most of the time, when people say that their Ion was a piece of ****, it's usually because they didn't take care of it properly. Me and 3 of my friends all have Ions. They didn't know how to take care of them or anything, and they started leaking and having a ton of problems, while mine didn't have a single one. We brought our own money together and bought one of those Ion repair kits off Punishers PB, and I fixed all of their guns in about 2 hours total. Now they actually know how to take care of them, and haven't had a problem since.

I'm not saying that you (Suicidal Brick) don't/didn't know how to take care of it or anything, I'm just saying that most of the time, when people complain about their Ions not working properly and whatnot, it's usually because of lack of care, misuse, or just down right stupidity.

My rating of an 8 stands.

i love the looks, bet it performs even better.

i hate it when people say "this gun is gonna break on you" because most things in paintball guns you can fix rather quickly with the right parts which can be ordered fast and be shipped to you fast, as long as you have some knowledge about your marker. most major breaks in your guns can be prevented by following simple maintinence procedures.

12" AA freak front (dusted)
10" Freak front (red)
dusted aluminum back
Full SS inserts.

IMO 3 fronts are pointless...unless you got them for a great price or something

I have 3 though...1 i got for free and never use...one i use on my spyder, and the other on my ion...my friends use my spyder a lot..so they just use that front.

i like it makes me think of what more i can put on mine... well the only thing is if the silver in there was black it would make the colors "flow" better. nice though ive been thinking of the cp short reg for mine...
