I was thinking about making the entire marker black, except for the tip of the barrel, which would be red. I think that would look pretty sweet...

7/10 stock get a different barrel the evil driver doesnt look good with the black to red unless u get more red parts on the gun

7/10 u need a drop.. i have an ion and it feels like shooting a rifle if u dont have one itl make it alot more balanced as well... im sure ya kno that but just thought id let ya kno

Just to let you know, I'm 6'5" with a 6'8" arm span. I have a stubby tank. The setup is already way too small for me. I really do not need a drop, it would make me even more uncomfortable then I already am.

6.5/10 Overall Heres why...
It automatically get 3/10 for being an ion.
You get a point for your new barrel.
And another point for your CP shorty.
A half point for the QEV.
Another half point for the new trigger.
And another half point for the feedneck.
Advice.
First off you should get yourself a squeegie and clean that barrel out. No, seriuosly, clean that out. Definatly stick with the all black color scheme. With a new bottomline setup and a fresh set of grips... your ion would not look mostly stock. Also look into the T-Board and a membrane mod and your ion would be kick a$$ in my book.

yo can u tell me where the qev goes on the ion? And if i need a qev kit or just qev. Im getting a ion over the weekend and want a cheap up so i was thinking the qev. So qev or qev kit and would i be able to install?

All you need is a QEV. If you want it installed, then I'd take it to the nearest PB shop and ask them if they know how. If not, then if it's a middle QEV then it replaces the middle banjo. If you have no idea what I'm talking about. IM me on AIM.
