I replaced the ir emitter with a blue LED and the ir receiver with a phototransistor. Then I bypassed the resistor on the ir emitter's side. The eyes look awsome man. Sounds like it took a bit of work to get them to be that way but it paid off. And yes, I belive that your translation is correct.

For some reason the ions remind me of a Scion xB. There small, inexpinsive, cool looking, and people like to put all sorts of lights on them... I give it a 10
