8.5/10 Overall Heres why...
You get a 3/10 automatically b/c its an ion.
You get a point for the nice custom bod.
You get another point for the nice polished frame.
Its nice to see that you got rid of the stock duckbill but I'll tell you why you don't get a point later
You get point for your QEV because its often an overlooked upgrade.
Although a BH board would not be my choice... I'll still give you a point.
The barrel will also give you a point.
Your T-lock and trigger will also gain you another point.
Advice.
Okay... you already have yourself a great looking ion, but there are a few small things that can be done to make it "look" soo much better. As for your entire bottomline setup... I don't like the drop because it does not go with the gun. The ASA needs to be slid closer towards the barrel. Your macroline could also use a little trimming to make your gun look a little smoother. I've also noticed that you have plenty of room to shave the bottom of you egg about a half inch to make your entire gun shorter. A nice dust black Hyper2 reg would look nice on it. Next time you take pics for ratings... put the battery connector back in the frame. If you do the things I've suggested... this gun would easily be a 9 or 10.
