thats a negative.....i have those same exact grips on my .68 special. lone star ordnance was a gun parts manufacturer so they made LOTS of gun parts....and it just so happens that your gun accepts any standard m-16, ar-15, or m-4 grip out there....... and yours just happen to be made by lone-star ordnance. It is a cheaper grip, but you can get some sweet ones for about 30 bucks, be happy.
7/10 for ion
and 8/10 cuz i like older stuff

5/10 for the ion. theres a ton to do.
qev, board, body, reg, barrel, new on/off asa, some sort of new bolt.
7/10 for the old gun, because its just got style. reminds me of my old brass eagle gun.

I'm only rating ions.
4.5/10 overall Heres why...
You automatically get 3/10 b/c its an ion.
You get another point for having a new trigger and q-lock on it.
I even gave you a half point for having a all black color scheme.
Advice.
Stick with the all black color scheme. And... well you know what you need to do and I don't feel like typing it all out. So if you really want to know what I think, you should go and check out THIS RATING and look for my review... your guns have basically the same upgrades.
Hope this helped... now follow the link in my sig to go rate my ion.

5/10 for Ion, 10/10 for illustrator
i just got me an illustrator yesterday. arent they insanely lightweight? lightest marker ive ever held. rips pretty good for old school too. +-10 flux on the chrono, and maybe 5-6 bps
did i mention it weighs NOTHING?
P.S. so illustrators accept all m-16 handles? sweet. im going to get some woodies
