yes, it is offset to the left. otherwise, with a mask, it would be unuseable.

i dont know much about tippmann triggers...but i think that bad gas efficiency is because of the cyclone feeding, it uses extra gas for everyshot to feed the ball in place

yeah, once me and my friend were barrel tagging and i convinced on of the kids next to me to let me use his a-5 to do a run-through
i couldnt even line up the iron sights with my mask on and he had a stock, but not a gas thru kind. the tank was right under the stock. it was hard to hold against my shoulder and it added to the weight.
and the run-through didnt work, i got lit up

my tippman 98 custom has a response trigger and I bought a electric hopper for it and it still couldnt feed it fast enough no matter how many times i adjusted it. It would chop the balls before they could get loaded all the way in the barrel. I took it to the shop and the guy took the trigger out and it still went on automatic fire So i had to leave it. So now i am looking to fix it then get an a-5 as well. i play woods ball and it seems to be a good choice.

i can put the first shot on someone's head at ranges that i would have to estimate and then compensate with other guns, so yes.

i think its amazing, definitely the gun i would get if i had all that money at one time. try out a new front bolt, i recommmend a shocktech superfly, maybe get a hp tank, depends on how much you want to spend. if not just make sure youre able to dump some money into good paint each time you play, and youll never be dissatisfied.

Grips, double trigger, and the qev you suggested.

With those it would be a 9/10.
