barrels pretty short its 10 inchest, but hey i like the ss and i think it shoots nice, cant go wrong with a freak! and for shaving off the black leave it in acetone overnight in a container like a ziplock so the acetone wont evaporate, then get one of those steel brush things, brush off the black should come off easily, and sand it underwater use the wet/dry sand paper, sand from like 600grit all the way to 1000 is what i did and polish! with a dremel or whatever you want

and why new asa the maxflow mf1 works pretty nice, no drop offs at all and shots are very consistant.

ok i kno this is bringin back a semi dead thread but i was wondering something about his custom job
do u leave the gauge and power button in with the acetone or do u take those off?

for paintball kid, u take off the on/off button (its a sticker, peel it off with an exacto knife and put it in waxpaper to keep the stickyness) and u also take off the guage. but for the ion, nice job on the paint removal. i would suggest a foehn body kit (black), not only do they look nice, they will make ur ion look insaine. then a new board, a black heart or virtue, and dye sticky grips. 8.5/10
