heck yea man, your right. you could spend maybe 350 bucks on an ion and have it runnin just the same as a shocker. plus, when you have an upped ion, its not an ion anymore, obviously, its an 'upped' ion. when you have a shocker, you dont need anything cept HE bolt then i think the rest is mostly cosmetics cus they're not necessities. im not syaing i'd rather have an ion over shocker, but in the long run, its cheaper cus you can have it running same or maybe even better with 350 or 400 bucks tops.

have u ever even shotten both the ion and a promaster? the ion feels like a toy. when i hold a promaster i feel that i am holding a very sturdy gun and the "feel" of a gun is why many people prefer any gun over the ion.

the promasters speed stock keeps up with that of a shockers and the body is made of aluminum. it also weighs slightly less so this is what a lot of people don't like about ion owners. they try to make themselves feel better by saying great things about their guns. a lot of times they have never shot a high end marker before. i have shot a wide range of markers and the ion does not match any of them and an upped ion will not match even a slightly upped promaster.

pretty nice, i just hate how almost every figgin ion is always red and black! like holy **** people be original, do u like ur marker looking the same as everyone elses? i dont mean to be rude or anything so plz dont take it the wrong way, it is a very nice gun, but i just cant take it anymore with all of these damn red and black ions.

anyways sorry to get off topic, but get a new bolt and id say its a 9 just because of the red and black, but if it was any other color id say it pretty much a ten
