Well, I'm new to paintball in general...as I've always borrowed guns (usually tippmans). However, since I've moved here to NC (recent) I have found out that the nearest place to fill up a tank is 30 minutes away... In other words, I am simply upgrading my ion bit by bit and with patience.

Was stock of course, and I added these few upgrades:

-Yella Speed Kit
-Black to Yella Fade Evil Driver Barrel
-Yella NDZ Aluminum Roller Wave Trigger
-Black Shocktek Feedneck
-Firebolt

Future Planned Upgrades:

-QEV
-ASA w/Rail?
-Reg
-T-board
-Magnetic Ball Detents?

Alright, they are horrible pics...but here it is so far:

The barrel is more yella than that...just reflected bad off of the metallic/alluminum finish.

I take it you love yellow. Great color scheme you got going there. 6/10. Much more upgrades you can put on there.

thats a pretty hot ion. dont see many with the yellow color scheme. props for being original 7/10

looks pretty nice. 7/10 as is, 9/10 with future upgrades. I'd also suggest a new reg, annoed yellow of course, and maybe an aftermarket body if you don't like the stock one.

and get a halo on that bad boy, asap.

i say keep the body..it matches really well. but yeah, you know what to do. i really like the color, good job. 6.67/10

Look great 8/10, really do not need to spend the money on the Reg tho. It would be for looks only. Stock reg does a great job as is.

not exactly great, but they get the job done.

get a mount or somethin on there (please dont get a drop).

Everyone else, thanks for the info/compliments! I'm still working on it bit by bit. Nothing else to do around here since I've moved.

Yeah, definatly on all of that..though I might go with the T-Board since it's cheaper, lol. Poor college student have no money.

8/10, mostly cuz I love that barrel.. I wanna do a gold/black scheme on my Ion when I get it, but until now I haven't seen any barrels with the gold fade.
