What you folks seem to beleive makes this "a low end gun" has been replaced....so what make the other EP spool valve designs superior to what hes got now? Please enlighten me, this should be funny.

That's not the issue. Besides the inferior quality, it probably performs nearly as good if not just as good as spool valves or freestyles. The issue is that he spentover a $1000 on this thing, when he could have just gotten a nice high end for cheaper.

The only arguement that even makes sense here is that he wants an 85* frame. Well then, get an Alien or an 06 speed. Either would have been cheaper, better quality, and just as good performance at least if not better.

Why do you all care that it was a waste of money? Its my money not yours. Maybe its just that I liek taking lower end guns and making them into something that is beautiful and one of a kind. I jsut dont see why you all say its a waste of money. I think its a waste of money to buy a new gun for $1500 that really cant really put your personal touch to besides a few parts.

I got my Eg06 for about $900, bnib. It performs amazing, and I guarentee it will kick the **** out of your Ion. Your gun MIGHT perform on the same level as our highend guns, but will have no where near the reliability that a stock machine will. SP diddent release the ION to be made into a high end gun, thats what the shocker is for.

And, you said you mostly play only stock class...so this is an even further waste of money.

Also-I can easily get alot better % out of my gun when I re-sell it. This will never sell for more than $500, a waste of $700.

V2>v1, Virtue>blackheart, Membrane pad>w/e way you use to change settings.

The thing is... we don't care. If you want to waste your hard earned money, that's fine with us. But you posted this thread so we could give you our opinions, and we did.

And it's a waste of money for every reason already said, if you haven't figured it out already then that's too bad, it's already been explained as clearly as possible.

I'm only putting into mine what i absolutely need then I'm saving up for a new gun.

Putting over a grand into an Ion is just dumb.

because 85/90's suck and nobody wants them nowadays?

45 = good.
y and z = good.
in the middle (90 and the sort) = bad.

How can you even say a certain frame is good or bad based on the angle it is at? Its all personal preference.

yes i can. the 90 degree angled framed and others like it are ergonomically incorrect for the shape and the way your arm bends.

however, 45's are also slightly, but not as much.

the "best" ergonomically correct frames would be the y frame and the z frame.
