And what about that looks like a stacked tube gun? The ion is a spool valve, the spyder is a stacked tube, blow back, poppit valve gun. For the ion, or the shocker, to be a stacked tub gun, it would have to have TWO TUBES.

super sweet gun but i personally would have gotten a different gun but thats just me. i dont blame you for doing this if u have the money and you like it go for it.

v2 was not available when I bought the v1
cirtue was not available when i bought the blackheart
stage 5 was not out yet
the cp cost me $30
and the UL was free

so i guess my gun is pretty much out dated then and I should get rid of the parts that work jsut fine for something that makes a whole crap load of a difference then? When the v1 and v2 look slightly different and the blackheart is almost the same thing as virtue.

its not even the fact that you upgraded it beyond belief, its just the fact that it could be so much better with the money you spent. granted id rather have a some other gun for the price, but you should have gotten those, instead of jumped the gun and bought the upgrade because it was the only one on the market for that week.

and he specifically said you should've waited instead of buying what was selling "that week" so that you could've gotten far superior parts that were coming out in the near future.

Come on guys this ION is sick!!!!!!!! Hey if he wants to mod his gun to the max then let it be. I have played a few tourney's with my ION and it stacks up really well with the high end markers out there. I have never had any problems with my ION except playin in a damn field with sand the eyes kept messin up.

The only thing is a virtue really rocks man a lot more options. Have both and the virtue is the way to go easy to program and do not have to open the grip.

I think alot of you guys are wrong for giving him a low rating for dumping that much money into a mid-end. You're rating the gun based on his actions, while totally disregarding the gun and its looks, function, and performance. Who cares if he dumps that much cash into a gun, and how relevant is that anyway? It's a sick gun whether he got it for free, bought it for $400, or took a stock ion, bought every individual piece, and made his own unique ion. Many of you guys are forgetting that this is a "Rate My Marker" section, not a "Rate My Spending Habits" section.

That being said, I give it a 9/10. Id would be higher if your firing can and UL back matched the rest of the gun.

The UL tip was suppose to be silver but the store didn't have any. Personally i think the Silver on the firing cna contrasts the rest of the gun and makes it stand out.

Here is my position on virtue:
I had the stock board and it was fine for me until the baord fried. The field i usually play at doesnt allow ramping/rebound or anything that isn't semi auto. NO virtue was not out when I got my blackheart. I love my blackheart it has every option that I MYSELF need. I have only played once on ramping and I can't stand it. It wastes more paint then needed and its not actually helping yor skill. Why shoot more paint to hit jsut as many people? thats why I usually play pump. I go through 80% less paint shooting my phantom or grey ghost or whatever and its made me a better player doing so.

And how is the v1 different from the v2? Just looks, I'm pretty sure theres no functional difference.
