You can't compare an ion to an ego for two reasons.

They're on opposite ends of the spectrum first of all. they work in totally different ways. Secondly being that 99.99% of people prefer egos over ions anyway.

but hey. you still have the hottest ion (and hopper) that i've seen yet.

yea i know there 2 different guns entirely and not really comparable, it would be like comparing a b16 civic motor to an ls1 motor', was just comparing the stats on paper basically to give an idea of what its capable of' and what ive done with it'

my goal was to make it light-weight, accurate, little to no kick, fast, smooth, low operating pressure, low dwell yad yada yada

on paper its just about the same weight, more accurate "sly kit", little to no kick what-so-ever, speed limitation would only be the hopper "if a hopper can feed it, it will shoot it", runs on 100psi to shoot 285fps, dwell is 10.5MS, very quiet yada yada yada

dm pad milled into hump, tons of programming options and firing modes, led relocation to grips, tons of custom carbon fiber work and so fourth, i wanted something that can play with guns on the high end level and be unique'

my hopper feeds 185 balls in 5 seconds-5.5sec's, its been upgraded and tweaked by david over @ boost custom's, never said my gun fired that'. Free-fall rates and actual gun rates are different and may vary from gun to gun or set-up to set-up.

i havnt used it on my gun yet as if you read the thread im still waiting on lots of parts to arrive as well as my frame and body sense i sent them out to have them re-done with more goodness'

not listing parts used until everything is together, but do note that there is not a single stock part on the gun, it was built from scratch with the best aftermarket parts availible and lots of custom craftmenship'. The only limitation on this gun would be a hopper, put a hopper on it that can actually feed 30bps on gun and the gun will shoot it without any issues'. It will also shoot that with little to no kick what-so-ever'. Feels smooth as hell.

I also bought damm near all aftermarket parts to test them out before deciding on what parts i wanted to use for my project. Best of the best is what it comes down to. I tested 4 bolts, 3 boards "about to be 4", 4 qevs among many other parts'.

ill actually probably start another project after i use this for about a month or so, i just like building guns from the ground up and enjoy the process. I was offered $1300 cash on another forum and the gun isnt even for sale yet, so who know's what my next project might be. But i will start with a more "high-end" platform how-ever i will probably play hybrid-carbon-fiber with my next project and mix and match some boards/bodys/frames etc'. something crazy'. I really like the ego trigger frame, i will probably start my project with that frame'.

When can you shoot 36bps? Your never doing that semi, you cant ramp that @ a field because field caps are typically 15-20bps as is semi.....'
