OK advice dont listen to a word 2ffu says hes just a flaming ass who thinks hes cool by picking on everyone...now if he wanteed a yborg he woulda got it maybe he likes his gun so instead of being ignorant (SP?) just rate it and calm down

i met my carbon fiber guy online, he will be doing all my future carbon fiber work, he also does painting/annodizing and milling etc'

Ill post mods, more pics, videos, stats and so fourth once its completely finished in a week or so. Current board im usuing is a t-board C version w/led relocation to grips and stage 1 v3 bolt or a nano bolt, ive got both and sold my l6'. Havnt been able to test my stage 1 v3 but it looks promising. 30bps wouldnt be a problem with a hopper that can feed it. Hoses start to fail "blow off noid/split" around 34-36bps from what i hear.' Im going to set it on un-capped and see just what the limit for the hoses truley is for myself with the help of goldwave, and if i can find a local cheetah'd halo to use ill get to really see how it fly's.

Its not exactly stock...well actually theres not a single stock part on it...not even the bajo's....and ive done plenty of research, testing and so fourth before i set my goals and began my project. The only limitation to the gun would be the hose set-up which tend to fail "blow-off/crack etc" around 34+ after some time'. If you want more info on that, call damon @ scenario dreams as he did plenty of testing on the noids, hoses, max rof "cps" and so fourth and would be more then happy to share good knowledge and test results. In damons testings he didnt run into any hose issues until around 36cps. How-ever another individual did testing of his own and began blowing hoses off @ 34-35cps.

ship me a hopper that will feed 30bps on gun and ill make you a video'

I think what people are trying to say is that, at the end of the day, I don't care if you waste $50000000 on an Ion...It's still an Ion, nothing can change that. They were not ment to be a high end gun, so they get no respect. Ions in my eyes are not high end guns. Matrixes, timmys, Shockers, borgs, Egos. They are high end. Ions...Mid end at best. There's a reson that they only cost $200 new.

I give yours a 9/10, becasue you may think it's as good as high end guns, but it's not. But atleast for the most part you know what you are talking about. Not too many Ion owners like that.

and i wasnt trying to say my gun is better then an ego, but it isnt a regular ion and it performs extremely well in all aspects that you would look into before buying a marker, stat wise such as dwell, speed, weight, noise, operating pressure, firing modes, tuning options and so fourth it has everything a "high-end" marker has that you would look into before purchasing a marker, yes an ion and an ego are different, im not disputing that, just wanted to point out that this gun performs nothing like a stock ion', if i put a bag over your head and let you rip some paint an ion would be the last thing you guessed it was'

this is a not a $200 ion, and i am not some 10 year old kid that thinks there ion is the shizz because it has ramping mode, yes the ion scene is tainted with some ignorant children because of the base price listing for the gun, how-ever i did not buy the base gun, i built my own gun from complete scratch with everything i wanted out of a paintball marker usuing the base internal platform of an ion....i supose sense its still based off of an ions internals and so fourth there will be ignorant flamers who are on the "ion-hater" bandwagon because that seems to be the cool thing to do sense there tends to be lots of ignorant ion-owners who like to make false claims and act like fool's.....there are those people with every marker...just seems the ion was a hot seller for bang for the buck so it got the worst end of things'

i will be deleting this thread and starting a new thread in a few days, my remaining parts are on there way to my door, next update will include my 100% finished marker'

i had the carbon fiber hump milled for the dm membrane pad, body re-done completely, regulator done, power button shaved, LED relocation mod to the grips, trigger frame was re-anno'd, trigger got a little more lov to it "some slight modifications" and a few misc internal parts to test out and write reviews on', once its back thats it for a while. Ill probably use it for a while then start another carbon fiber marker project if i can find a platform id like to build off of.

and i relize not everyone is gonna like my gun, good thing is i didnt design it for everyone, i designed it for me, i dont mind constructive cricism but ignorant flaming coming from children is rather pointless and a waste of other readers time' as well as just tasteless

you should try a shocker next, or a PM6. Tons of upgrading options.
