This is my scouting rig.
I got this marker for FREE. Some rube left it outside and it rusted shut, so it "didnt work". Some time with a chunk of fine steel wool and WD40 fixed that right up. The thing is covered in the adhesive cammoflage tape that had baken onto metal and looked like crap, so I spray-painted it to a tiger stripe finish using Olive drab,a nd black outdoor Krylon. It even came with a worthless 3-7x10mm rimfire scope. I added a 4x30mm scope for better visibility in lower light. I know paintballs have a sucky trajectory, but the scope has enough edjustments to allow point of aim shooting out to about 30 yards before you need to start holding over; its mostly a replacement for binoculars durring scenario and monster games. The see-through rings allow me to site down the top of the barrel for closer shots. The scope is intentionaly canted, so that when you angle the marker to line up the recticle, the ball feed is verticle. It also lowers the profile of the gun by about one inch. I dont know how the accuracy compares with other markers, but will keep all the balls within a pie plate at 30 yards without any effort.
I had all the accessories on hand, so the gun was truely free, except for the time spent cleaning it up.
