Modded Spyder Imagine!
Ok, I've had this Imagine for a while, and I got it from a freind for free because he didn't want it any more!!! So now I've modded it out the wazoo, and for some odd reason, I just love it to death. So, I'm wondering what you guys would think about it.
So, here's everything on/done to it:
Polished Internals
J&J Ceramic 1 Piece
Super Light Trigger Mod (I can hit the back of the frame and the gun will fire, no joke)
Removed Venturi
Modded stock Valve Pin to High-Flow
Modded stock Valve to High-Flow
Shaved Hammer to Reduce Weight and Kick (more air efficient too)
Flat-ish Trigger (really ghetto)
Shimmed Trigger (no side to side and really ghetto aswell)
Home Made Magnetic Trigger (no aftermarket trigger for me!)
Clamping feedneck (drilled holes in sides to help prevent "popping")
Efficiency Mods (from OtterSC Customs)
Custom 9.6v 700 mAh battery (from an RC Car)
Ricochet AK (I'm now outshooting my hopper )
20oz CO2 (finally got it!)
Black Expantion Chamber (spray painted black instead of leaving it silver for better match with the rest of the gun)
Chopped off the thing that covers the bolt (half block?)
Everything I did collectively cost me only $110 (hopper, barrel, feedneck), so, what say you?

yay!
To me, half the fun of paintball is working on your own gun! It's no fun to just buy a gun and play. If you get a gun, work on it, and play, you can see the fruits of you labor!

How exactly did you do the LP mod without a new bolt, and more importantly no regulator? You're still running at whatever pressure your CO2 tank is outputting as far as I can see.
Um, 7/10.

I did all the mods from OtterSC Customs, and it enables me to use a lighter spring for the hammer, whitch lets me use less gas per shot to get the same performance, so that in turn does let the gun opperate at a lower pressure, yes? Ithink thats right... correct me if I'm wrong.
After I did all those mods and didn't buy a new sprink kit, I was shooting at 330 fps when I had previously chronoed at 280. I didn't touch the velocity adjuster at all, I just did the mods. Even with the velocity adjuster all the way out, I was still shooting over 280 fps.
And granted, I don't have a regulator that puts out a constant ammount of LP, but I also get more shots per tank.

You kind of did like, Idk, 1/3 of the LP mod. I'm not saying it's bad, but you didn't really make it LP. You're still running at whatever pressure it was before, you just made it more efficient.

Now I just shimmed the trigger for no side to side play!!! Well, there's just a hair, but nothing like how it was...

very nice, but doesnt the dangling battery get annoying? coulndt you like cut up a shoebox and wrap the cardboard around the battery, then coat in in electrical tape and fasten it to your tank? people might look at you funny when you have it filled, but at least the batt want be dangling during play.
