I just purchased this Proto Rail from a local dealer. I would like to know more about the gun and recommendations for making it into a better gun. I am new to paintball and was going to buy a ION Redz, but nobody seems to like them. I paid $425 out the door. I was told that the gun was purchased by a guy who did some modifications but never shot the gun. He needed to sell it back to the shop for personal reasons. I purchased the gun, Carlton 4500 PSI / TC3FCM, tank regulator, Dye tank cover, and a Halo RIP hopper with a Hybrid shell. If I am wrong on any of the parts let me know. Please be brutally honest. I was told this setup could shoot 30 BPS. Is this true?

30bps would depend on a few things, but i would def loose the drop. maybe get something like a unimount thats gonna make your general profile a little shorter and more comfortable.

I was comparing pictures with another PMR. The trigger on this one is blue. What type of trigger? Did I get a good - fair - bad? The tank is a 4500 PSI, but what size?

I'd have to agree. If you need some drop, I'd suggest something like a SP mini drop or something along the lines of that. Too much drop is going to make your profile "larger" and easier to hit. The smaller the drop, the tighter or "smaller" the profile.
