I have a Smart parts Ion all stock parts. Is it a good gun, and what can i put in it to make it better?

1. Wrong section

2. In order I would personally get:
Feedneck (CP, Q-Loc, etc.)
QEV (SmartParts, Clippard, etc.)
Trigger (CP, Critical)
Barrel (J&J, CP, FREAK, etc.)
On/Off ASA (CP, etc)
Bolt (L7, HollowPoint, PillowBolt)
And a BOB Body if you have the regular Ion and not the IonXE

Personally, depending on how serious you are I wouldn't spend money upgrading the ion. First off imo an ion is always gonna be an ion, and your going to get next to nothing in resell for your ups. It's a nice gat, I would just enjoy it and save the upgrade money for your next marker!

this part is very true, it just goes person by person as to exactly how much to spend, there are so many ions out there they resell for pennys on the dollar. it is much better to start with a ion XE, that way you already have a BOB body, a clamping feedneck and a better trigger. if its not too late and you have a normal ion it may be a good idea to sell it and get a XE, youll have to pay a little extra out of pocket but its nothing compaired to what it will cost to make a normal ion as good as a XE is out of the box
