Alright, I know this gun isn't for everybody, I know it doesn't have any performance enhancing upgrades, but Mil-Sim is what I was going for. So keep that in mind when rating. Rate it on how good of a Mil-Sim gun it is.

Tippmann 98 custom
Rap4 M16/M4 Magazine
BT Rip clip
BT 14" M16/M4 barrel
6 position CAR stock (not sure about the brand)
Rap4 X7 low profile hopper
Sight rail custom made from a flatline rail
Red dot sight (I got it for $5 from a friend. It's just for looks)
Seal Bolt system
BT Grip (the thing on the barrel. I don't know what it's actually called)
Black cord cover thingy.. (I just used that on the hose. Didn't know what else to use. Lol)

On a side note, in the first picture, where the "98 CUSTOM" thing is, there's a piece of electricians tape on it. Since these pictures have been taken I've taken that off, and used a paint pen and painted it black.

On another side note, I took these a while back and a few things have been done to it. The sight on the barrel has been replaced by a quad-rail thing for Bi-pods, lasers, flashlights, that kind of thing. There's nothing attached to it, but I like the look of it alot better than the tall sight. Also, I made a custom thread on silencer (NOTE: this silencer can not be taken off and modified in ANY WAY to work on a real firearm) made out of PVC. It looks really good. I'll have some current pictures of it up tomorrow, I just don't want to have to mess with it tonight.

It's big and heavy and totally impractical as a milsim marker it gets an 8/10 from me.

Yes it's big an heavy, but that's what I wanted in my Mil-Sim marker. So as far as Mil-Sim markers go it's pretty good? Considering I started with a stock 98.

Flatline is useless
If you want a MilSim type barrel, the SmartParts Tactical is much better, and you can even get a FRAEK System with the Tactical Front, or even a FREAK with Apex Tip
Lapco also makes an Apex ready tip

Not liking the camo tape. Other than that, its pretty cool. Don't like the red dot for some reason, think a rail sights would be better, if possible.

I took the red dot off, considering all it does it get in the way. I've since wrapped the hopper in camo tape. Only reason I wrapped them in camo tape us because this is my woodsball gun, and I use the "silencer" when I'm "sniping" or hiding in the woods.

Lots! Other than upgrading the stock plastic the power tube and front bolt which you said, you can get different rear bolts that will reduce recoil and improve shot consistency, an expansion chamber can even out your shots as well(though you might have to sacrifice your nice looking magazine to make it fit).

If you want something free and easy you can polish the internals of your marker, it will improve air efficiency and improve accuracy, here's the link I used it doesn't take more than a couple hours. How to Polish the Rear Half of a 98, 98c, and 98 Pro

I have to ask how well does the Ripclip work on your 98? I've heard mixed feelings about the cyclone on a 98, mostly that you need to get the squishy paddles or you will break balls like mad. Any issues with the Ripclip? Comments? Concerns? I'm looking into getting a better feed system myself.

I really like your marker, that's a very solid AR build. The silencer doesnt' do it for me but that's about the only thing I dislike. The flatline sight rail is inventive.
7/10 for Function and 9/10 for looks, Badass rig!!

I know they make expansion chamber mags, for the x7 at least, and probably the a5. Idk about the 98c though.

It is available and will fit on the marker if you have a vertical adapter, but the lack of a magazine well won't look as good. I'm sure with a little bit of patience and the right tools you could adapt the magazine expansion chamber into your existing mod by cutting off the plastic magazine and fitting the expansion chamber into the pre-existing mag housing.

Thanks! I'll probably polish those here soon. Next time I go to lowes I'll get some sandpaper.

As far as the RipClip, I love it! I've fired that thing as fast as my fingers could go and it still kept up. I love it. I think it's alot better than the cyclone feed.

I'll see what I can do. The mag is actually metal, though. Which may make it a bit harder to fudge that thing to work.
