Autococker Evolution 97

Hi new to the board, I was thinkning about getting back in the game (played a little a few years ago, still have my Phantom) and are looking into buying a semi, I have looked at the TippMann Custom 98, it seems like a good marker and it is quite cheap. However, my friend has a Autococker that he want to sell, a green anodized, Autococker Evolution 97, it has an expansion chamber, one chrome DYE barrel (~10-12") and one green/cammo splash anodized ~12" barrel of unknown brand (probably not the worst make on the market) that haven't been played much at all, it also has a drop with a T-stock (no adjustable) but I will try to make my remote working with the marker if I buy it...
He only have CO2, no air, I test played the marker a few days ago and it felt really good (exept stripping my thumb's skin on the beaver tail screws), it did however dropp the balls out of the barrel when I pointed it towards the ground, I was told that was a cheap/easy fix...

The question: Are the Cocker a better marker than the Tippmann and how much should I pay for the Cocker?

I have pics of the Cocker, but they are home and I'm at work, I'll try and post them tomorrow...

I have tried to search for reviews but I can't find any covering this old Cocker. I could however have placed this thread better...

I'll post some pics anyway

The adjustable remote T-stock are from my Phantom, the drop/t-stock and the beaver tail arefrom this gun though...

Do you know how to work teh cockers? If you don't buy a tippy. If you think you can then get that cocker. It's old school so 7.5 since were in the rateing section.

yeah definately hang onto that. It will be a collectors item in about ten years, if it isnt already. 8/10 for vintage guns.
