Please Rate my First gun (got through Ebay)

I am definitely a newb at this, so please tell me if this gun that I just won bids on is a good first gun...

Green to Black fade Spyder Flash LCD
12" Smart Parts All American Barrel with Green Freak Front
Black 12V X-Board Revy
Green JT X-Fire mask w/ thermal lens
12 oz CO2 tank
All stock parts included
Box and Manuals included

The description was provided by the seller in ebay. I am not how much any of this is worth... but it looks pretty neat... I did brief search on this gun, but doesn't known enough about it to make any judgement...
The final price was 142.50 including shipping...

I also want to know if I need anything else or if I should get a different mask or barrel or anything.... Thanx guys.

Thanx

If you are just getting into paintball then that is great. Don't listen to all these guys that tell you to upgrade to nitro right away. Yea sure its better buy not worth the money for a new player. You might want to get a new mask, but the barrel is really good its better than mine and I've been into paintball for a while. Your hopper is good, you don't need a hopper that will let you use your gun on full auto. Its a waste of good money that you could use to buy a case or two of paint. And your Revvy will easily handle semi auto. So for right now I would keep that setup, my friend has been playing for almost 5 years and he owns an E-99 Avant and has a revvy and it keeps up with him fine. And what you paid for all that stuff is a great deal.

aight first, nitro wouldnt be a bad dicision, im only saying this cause if he liked the sport and wanted a faster gun like a impy, cocker, or bushy, a nitro would be a must.. but everything else was about right, if your thinking of upgrading to a much faster gun, then i wouldnt upgrade the gun you have now, i would just save up..

nah.. no reason to spend more money on your nitro than your gun... thats stupid... a spyder will run fine on c02... you should see if you like playng paintball before you get nitro , and if you do like playing get the nitro later on.

you should see if you like playing paintball before getting any upgrade.. whats the point of upgrading your gun and then not like paintball? 0?

i agree with hu$$$$tl3r. If you plan on putting money into a gun, nitro should be the first. that way, if and when you get a better gun, the nitro is good for it. a new bolt/barrel/anything else you slap onto your gun generally isn't going to be good for a better gun. nitro is. it's a very nice investment. co2 can't touch it.

and for the thread: nice first gun. 4/10 for spyders. it's still nearly stock, a lot more than what you can do it. i dont suggest doing anything much to it though. just play with it for a year or so, and then upgrade to a better gun. but yeah, it is an excellent gun to get you started and play intermediatly.
