My Spyder Pilot
Hey guys, I'm new here. Name's spencer. I got a Spyder Pilot for my paintball marker and I gotta say, I freaking love it.
Here's what I got on it so far:
- Knock Out 5-piece Barrel kit - Lengths: 12,14,16, & 18 inches
- Rocking trigger Frame (Coming in mail this week)
- Psycho Ballistics Bullet Medium Drop Forward - Chrome
- '05 Blue Dye Sticky grips (for spyder...duh)
- Blue Halo B Loader - With Rip drive installed
- 32 Degrees Spring Kit
What I am getting for my gun in near future:
- Kingman Delrin ACS bolt
- Crossfire 92/4500 High pressure Tank
- Blue or silver Clamping Feedneck
- Anodizing job - Darker Blue with some sort of design on it.
Approximate total Cost that I payed for this stuff and what I will pay for the things I am getting: $800-900
Yeah. I go with my buddies a lot. We play Woodsball and Tournament style PB and we are planning to join up in the next tourney co,ming up this weekend at our local shop. My buddies' got their own guns as you might imagine. They have among them:
-Tippmann A-5
-System X Vengence 4.0
-Diablo Mongoose Reincanation
-Tippmann Model 98
-Spyder Classic
-Tippmann 98 Custom
-Spyder Victor
-Misfit (dont know what the heck it is-havent seen it yet)
-Victor
We go paintballing a lot, so I figured I'd join a site about it. Hope I enjoy my stay here.
I am going to post pictures of my gun tonight so you all can see it. I think it's pretty bad-ass, but I'm not sure what you all will think.
Hope you rate it when I post pics later.
Thanks.

Here are the pictures. Please rate it.
If those links dont work, just go to my folder that I have them in here:
http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/eminem...bum?.dir=/69c2
I know, that it's a blowback gun adn everything. Not a top of the line, "Oh my god, look at that thing!" type of gun. But I like it. I like the way it fires and I just like the gun itself, so when you rate this, please rate it on how I have Upgraded it, and how it looks to you, not just based on because it's a Spyder, not an Angel 4 Fly, or Dye DM5.
Thanks again.

Any more ratings from you people? My Rocking Trigger should be here by Saturday or Monday (It's Tuesday Morning where I am.) And I'm going to install it right away so I can go out and play some more.
I don't know though. I only wanted to get a total of 4 more things for my gun, and it's the most expensive (the four things I listed in my first post.) But yeah, More ratings would be appreciated.
Thanks

It's One back, the chrome part that is by the gun, that the other 4 barrel extensions screw into. Size: .689, I can get more of them, different sizes, but I'm sticking with this one now, cause it works for me, lol. I will get the stuff I need more than that first.
Any more ratings?
Thanks,

7/10...with HPA, CP Reg, CP Uni-mount, New Internals, T-board and eyes, Lo-rise Clamping feedneck, and a nice annodizing job it would be 10/10 for spyders. Get all the parts/internals before you get it anno'd tho because funtion>fashion

hey spyder-junkie...........pretty nice lookin gun which deserves a 8/10 but id like to say one thing about your future bolt.....a couple of my friends have the ACS and both of them have had numerous problems with them. I was planning on getting the ACS myself but ive found lot of bad reviews on it and the PB store reccomended the ShockTech Supa-fly........so i bought that instead and for the past few days that ive had the bolt ive been problem free and im very happy with how well it performs
Anyway nice job so far, and its gonna be awsome when you get your rocking trigger in..........I like.......

True I didn't really think of that, but if it were me I'd rather the T-board and eyes, so you never blend any paint. I wouldn't recommend all those ups on a spyder, but if he really wants to keep the spyder forever that would be a good list to go by.

Hey thanks for the comments guys. And yeah I did thinks about getting the T-board, but I wanted the rocking trigger instead. And to Spyder Imagine, I will take into consideration getting that Supa-Fly bolt, soundslike its good, I have heard of it, and I was trying to debate on whether or not to get that or the ACS bolt. Thanks for making the comments though guys.
Any More?
Thanks,
Junkie
