it has an adjustable ram cap, and i have VP's in my alias and i must say they are nothing special.

Did not see adjustable ram cap, my bad.

I took my friends VPs for a test run, and i was much more consistent on the chrono. But maybe my regular metal pistons orings were messed up or something?

i believe they are ment to provide a better seal (being delron and all) so how much of a difference they make may depend on the condition of your original o-rings and how well they sealed.

I wouldn't have told him to get a new tank or a new halo or anything, but gunwise, that's pretty much what I would tell him.

Did you get that new or used? If you got it used, I hope you didn't pay over 350 for it. It's a 2k2 with an 05 frame on it.

I thaught the 2k5 used a 2k5 front block. I guess they still use the 2k2 front block.
