Assuming you have all the other stuff needed (mask, hopper, HPA tank etc) I would probably go with the Etek2. The thing is once you get to this price bracket, only small things differentiate markers. There will be slight weight and settings differences, but it ultimately comes down to what you prefer.

I would have posted this under the "Gun Comparisons" forum. You'd probably get more responses. As for my opinion, I'd go with the Marq because I like Bob Long guns.

Don't spend $700 on a new Marq 7. I got mine new for only $489.99. Just look around and see what you can find. As for the Etek2 why not just get a used Ego 7 for the same price. No... better yet just stick with the Marq. Mine has never given me any problems.

dangerous power G3, rivals both guns, $300 for the basic and $400 for the Special Edition.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ummm, yuck? G3 one of the worst quality markers in any price point. And other than weight, it's NOWHERE CLOSE to a Marq or Etek. Both kick less, get better efficiency, are easier to work on (thanks to the G3 using nonstandard sized orings), have better triggers, more programmable boards. And neither of them are stuck in the early 90's with using VENTURI bolts.

Oh, and by the way. When a thread hasn't been posted in for over a month, it's generally considered bad etiquette to revive it. Just let it stay dead. 9 months is VERY dead.
