oh and since it has a brand new eye system i dont really think that classfies as hype, thats more of a performance reason to buy it.

thanks for the ratings guys and thanks for defending me DJS2. yeah, the only thing i can upgrade on it that i know of is a barrel, and intellifeed. my bro has intellifeed and it isnt working the best for him, so i am gonna hold out on that. as for the barrel, this thing shoots pretty straight, i am gonna compare it to my bro's 16" stiffi(oh god that sounds gross) later, but i prob wont buy a barrel. thanks again guys

10/10 I don't know what you could put on it, they look pretty nice stock. Maybe a new barrel if you arn't liking the stock one, but you said it is fine, so I'm not sure.

There are lots of differences between G7s and 05 Speeds. All G7s come with laser eyes, different milling, bolt is further up, different on/off switch, different breach knob thing, LCD screen, lighter hammer (I think?) for less kick, but in the end they kind of feel the same when just holding them.

EDIT- I hate the stock o-ring feedneck, I don't know if you like it or not, but I'd recommend getting like a Check It or some other clamping feedneck.

and just to remind some people, $1500 guns dont usually need a whole lot of upgrades, most upgrades are just used for looks, cant really raise teh preformance of teh gun much more, wdp put the top of the line everything into this gun

i like the o-ring feedneck. the G7 is slightly different. instead of a bunch of o-rings, it is a solid piece that resembles o-rings put together. it has worked for me, so w/e lol

Oh yeah, I forgot the G7 has the single o-ring piece. So the only ups I can recommend you would be a barrel if you truly need it, but I find my stock Infinity works fine on my Speed, so I don't know. WDP has pretty much put every useful upgrade you can get on the G7.

9/10, decent gun, but overly hyped. It's a '05 speed with a few minor differences. I'd take a .45'ed 05 speed with Newton kit and save the money.

how is it overly hyped? and can i have your opinion on what a minor/major difference is? i think a brand new laser eye system never before put on any other gun is a 'major' difference, but then again thats just me..

i like the look of it except for that little handle on the back...i don't know what it does, looks annoyingly big.

well, i was debating to get the 05 speed a while ago, but people have had a lot of problems with the newton kit, and the G7 is a totally different gun. and as for the 45º grip, i used to use an impulse with a 45º and i am tired of it. but w/e, personal preference.

That normally is closed. that is the new system of opening the breech. when you wanna open the breech, you swing that open, which pulls the bolt back. it is a very nice system that they used because when closed, it also covers the on/off switch.

You can get a Speed with laser eyes.

The "major" differences between G7 and 05 Speed is, LCD, Milling, Breech opening thing, the bolt further up in the breech and new internals, and a different stock feedneck. The only real things alike on it are the trigger and the look somewhat, from what I know it is pretty much a completely redesigned gun.
