if your gonna tell him to lose the drop, at least give him a reason why..but i found the article..it was in januarys faceful i believe, either that or in the new pb2x.
like chrome said though, drops make players shoot in the wrong posture. which is what i was trying to get at. but good luck on your decision, and remember it is your gun.

if you sell one of your big tanks, you could get a 45/4500 tank...if your field offers all day air, you will be fine with a small tank. Shooting posture is very important.
Note your avater, if you had a smaller tank, you you could shoot from the shoulder or higher up, unlike that person.

i forgot to rate it, i'd say 10/10 i luv matrixes but lots o people have em. i gave urs a 10 cause it's unique. unlike all the rest where the only difference is the color, and barrel

well...........actually, I do shoot from the shoulder..........and that guy in the picture, thats me. I had just lowered my ion because game was called.
I pull my tank into my right peck and look straight down the barrel. I just like the drop because it gets me closer to the body.

no offense, but im guessing ur either spoiled or u work hard for ur money, im not knocking u for either, and im guessing u got an ion, played with it a little, than said, "damn those dm5s are sexy and so cool" so u got one of those. good choice, great gun. but drop, shooting from the shoulder, ect. all show the signs of a newer player (no offense, but they increase more hits and make your playing posture worse) so basiically whats the point of having such a nice gun if you arent going to use it to its full potential.
9 for the gun. 3 for ur decision.. lol. do you really think you are $1000 worth better with ur dm5 than ur ion? if so than that is sad and you really need to play more rather than spending money.
not trying to mean or anything, have fun on the field. |

yeah, I work for my money, a wife, two kids, mortgage............nobody is spoiled here except maybe the punk kid I'm talking to.
I did lots of research before buying the DM5...........and yeah..........I do think its worth the $1000.00 I spent on it. I didn't get it because "it looks so cool - duh huh".........I got it because I got a chance to play with one and realized that its the marker to have if you want to get better and run with the "big boys".
I have studied techniques from local players and video, and I'm not a freakin newb.............maybe I haven't been playing quite as long as some, but I
m no newb.

asumner: try playing without a drop and with a smaller tank. i did, and it was mucho more comfortable.
